US Reschedules $177Mn Of Jordans Debt
Fulfilling a commitment made in July last year following a meeting of Paris Club creditor states with Jordan (MEES, 5 August and 15 July), the US has agreed to reschedule $177mn of the countrys debt as part of moves to help the frail Jordanian economy weather the current conflict in Iraq.
