Shell Restarts Production At Soroush Field

Shell has restarted production at the offshore Soroush field, following a decision to evacuate staff from the fields early production system jack-up rig and storage/offloading tanker on 19 March because of the US-led invasion of Iraq (MEES, 24 March). A Shell official confirmed to MEES that Soroush production was restarted on 31 March. The jack-up production unit has a nominal crude handling capacity of 60,000 b/d, but...
