Total Hands Over Balal Field Operation To NIOC
Development operator Total announced on 16 September that it had transferred the operatorship of the Balal field production and living quarters platform to the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) on 27 August as planned in the buyback contract for the project.In a press statement Total said that Balal production had reached a level of 40,000 b/d and that training of NIOC operating crews had been completed.
