Jordan RaisesElectricity Tariffs
Jordan has raised the price of electricity for all users, withtariff increases ranging from 3.3% for the lowest domestic users to 13% foragricultural users. Under the changes, domestic users will pay 3.3-6.6% morefor power, with larger users paying more according to a sliding scale from 42US cents/kWh to $1.05/kWh. Industrial users will pay 5.5% more at 50c/kWh,while commercial customers will pay 3.3% more at 86c/kWh....
