Rumhy Confirms PDO Production Shortfall
Omani Oil Minister Mohammad al-Rumhy has confirmed that Petroleum Development Oman (PDO)has failed to meet output targets because of unexpected production problems,following a MEES report (8 July) that volumes of the benchmark Omancrude blend had fallen to 760,000-770,000 b/d in May, significantly below thetarget of 810,000 b/d under the OPEC/non-OPEC production accord of 1H02.
