Half Of Iraq Basrah Exports Went To North America In 2000
Iraqi oil exports in 2000 followed a pattern of destinationsand lifters similar to that during the first three years of the UN oil-for-foodprogram (1997-1999), with around half of all Basrah Light exports heading toNorth America, a MEES survey of Iraqiexport data shows.
