Turkey Begins Construction Of Blue Stream Link
Turkey has begun the construction of its section of the Blue Stream pipeline, the $2.5bn project designed ultimately to carry up to 16bn cu ms/year (BCM/y) of Russian natural gas across the Black Sea. The Anatolian News Agency reported on 10 February that a ceremony was held at Haymana, 60km south of Ankara, marking the start of construction of the 500km link between Ankara and Samsun on Turkeys Black Sea...
