BP Amoco Signs Agreement For NGL Plant Near Suez
BP Amoco announced on 17 April that it had signed an agreement with the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) for the construction of a gas treatment/separation facility in the Gulf of Suez area. BP will invest some $138mn in building the NGL plant with related storage and marine facilities.
