Pricing Disagreement Halves Irans Imports Of Gas From Turkmenistan
Irans state news agency IRNA reported on 11 May that the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) has halved its imports of gas from Turkmenistan since 1 April, following a disagreement with the Turkmen government over the price of its gas. The agency said that NIGCs decision would slow down the recovery of Irans investment in the Turkmen gas pipeline to Iran.
