EIB Approves 50Mn Loan To Egypt For Environmental Project
The European Investment Bank (EIB) announced on 2 August that it had given a50mn ($45.18mn) loan to the Egyptian Government to finance a new drainage program in the Nile Valley and Delta regions. The loan will be made available under the second Euro-Mediterranean Partnership mandate and will benefit from an interest subsidy financed by the EIB.
