KFAED To Lend Egypt $170mn For Power Plant
The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) has awarded a $170mn loan to Egypt to help finance the construction of a 750mw power plant just north of Cairo. Egypts generating capacity is 25gw, and the government aims to triple this by 2027 at a projected cost of $100bn.
