Yemen Ratifies PSA With Australian/UAE Joint Venture For Block 15
On 20 September Yemeni President 'Ali 'Abd Allah Salih issued a decree ratifying a production-sharing agreement (PSA) with Australias Oil Search Ltd and the UAEs Mohammad al-Otaiba Group covering oil exploration in the 13,040 sq km offshore Mukalla block 15 off the coast of the Hadhramaut governorate (see Map in MEES, 31 May 1999).
