UN Compensation Commission PaysOut $11.8Mn
The UN Compensation Commission (UNCC), which reviews claimsagainst Iraq following its invasion of Kuwait in 1990, said on 14 October thatit had paid out $11.8mn to 687 individuals in 21 countries. The payments wereawarded under category D which covers claims of individuals for losses above$100,000.
