The Political Scene
If the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu decides to proceed with a controversial building project in east Jerusalem, there could be trouble ahead. Algeria is gearing up to elect a pluralistic but essentially toothless parliament. Mr. Netanyahu's visit to Washington does not appear to have done much to move things ahead on the Syrian track.
