LukoilAnnounces Protocol Of Intent With SonatrachRussia's largest crude oil producer Lukoil announced on 23 October inMoscow that it had signed a protocol of intent with Algeria'sSonatrach on the future participation of the Russian company inhydrocarbon production in Algeria. Details of the agreementwere not disclosed apart from theannouncement sayingthat the two parties would cooperate on a production-sharing basis.
