Iraq Asks Foreign Firms To Assist In Reconstruction Of Existing OilFacilities
As well as negotiating with foreign, mainly European, firms for thedevelopment of new oilfields when UN sanctions are lifted, Iraq is now alsosoliciting assistance from the same foreign companies for the reconstruction ofexisting oil production and export facilities which were extensively damagedduring the Gulf war.
