Lebanon's Foreign Debt And Reserves
According to the Central Bank of Lebanon, the country's foreign debt rose to$1,169mn in July, up 35% from $865bn in June. The debt stood at $772mn inDecember 1994 and $327mn in December 1993. Earlier this year, the Governor ofthe Central Bank, Mr. Riad Salamah, said that the foreign debt will reach $1.3bnby the end of 1995 (MEES, 24 April).
