Ratings Firm To Be Formed This Month
Also at the conference the head of the Arab Monetary Fund (AMF), Mr Jasim al-Mana'i,confirmed that the AMF is working to establish a ratings firm this month. Thefirm will be formed in partnership with the European agency IBCA and theInternational Finance Corporation, a subsidiary of the World Bank. It is notclear where the new firm will be set up (MEES, 3 July).
