Oil Trade Surplus down 44.1% in First Half of 1988
The surplus on Egypt's oil trade fell by 44.1% to E267.9mn ($382.7mn) in thefirst half of 1988 from E479mn ($684.3mn) in the first half of 1987. The exportand import figures for the first half of 1988 were E485.2mn ($693.1mn) andE217.3mn ($310.4mn). The equivalent figures for the first half of 1987 wereE651mn ($930mn) and E172mn ($245.7mn).
