NIOC To Start Oil Transit Through Sumed In February
MEES learns that Iran's NIOC will start shipping oil for its own accountthrough the Sumed pipeline system beginning in February. One or two shipmentstotalling some 250,000- 500,000 tons are scheduled for next month. The movefollows the agreement signed last July between the NIOC trading subsidiary NaftIran (NICO) and Sumed which allowed, for the first time, the transit of Iranianoil through the Sumed system...
