Aramco Discovers New Gas Field Arabia
The Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco) has discovered a new gas fieldat Abu Markha, 160 kms. southeast of Riyadh, Saudi Oil Minister Mr. Hisham Nazerannounced on 22 June. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, Mr. Nazer saidthat the discovery tested at a total flow of 30.9mn cu. ft./day of gas and 2,477b/d of liquid hydrocarbons from two producing formations.
