Aghazadeh Calls For Sharp Rise In Local Fuel Prices
Iranian Oil Minister Gholamreza Aghazadeh has called for steep increases inthe price of domestic oil products so as to reduce local consumption. In aninterview published in the local Hamshahri newspaper, Mr. Aghazadeh said thatthe price of a liter of petrol should be raised to IR220-250 ($0.13-0.14 at theofficial exchange rate) from the present price of IR50. He did not mention otheroil products by name....
