Libya Merges Ministries and Abolishes Ministry of Oil
Libya's General People's Congress (parliament) decided last week to merge 14secretariats (ministries) into six, according to the official news agency JANA.The changes were made during a meeting of the Congress at Sirte on 14-15September. The last cabinet reshuffle in Libya took place in October 1990.
