Japan Studies Possibility of Building Steel Plant on Qeshm Island
According to the Tokyo daily Mainichi Shimbun of 1 November, Japans' KobeSteel Ltd. is holding talks with Iran for the construction of a $1bn steel plantwith a 5mn ton/year capacity on Qeshm Island in the southern part of the Gulf.
