Iran and Pakistan Reach Agreement to Build Joint Refinery
Iran and Pakistan have reached an agreement to build a joint refinery at theport of Qasim near Karachi, according to Mr. Mohsen Nourbakhsh, the IranianMinister of Finance, following meetings in Tehran of the two countries' jointeconomic committee which ended on 31 July. A memorandum of understanding wassigned on 16 May by the two countries which called for the creation of a 50-50joint refining venture...
