Final Decision on Oman Methanol Plant Delayed until September
A final decision on the construction of a floating methanol plant off thecoast of Oman has been delayed until September pending the completion of astudy by the promoters of the project, Ocean Phoenix, on the possibility ofreducing its total cost, which a bid submitted in March this year by M.W. Kellogput at around $350mn. The 800,000-ton/year plant - a dismantled Texas plantwhich will be refurbished...
