Egypt Raises Oil Prices by $7.00/B

Because of the market surge, Egypt raised the prices of its various grades ofcrude oil by $3.00 a barrel on 1 August and again by $4.00/B on 2 August for atotal of $7.00/B. Egypt usually sets its oil prices on a half-monthly basis andbarring any further sudden changes the new prices will apply for the first halfof August.
