World Bank Lends $156mn to Algeria, Morocco and North Yemen
The World Bank has agreed to lend Algeria, Morocco and North Yemen a total of$156mn, as follows: $58mn for Algeria to finance a locust control projectcovering 6.5mn hectares, $15mn for an agricultural development scheme near NorthYemen's Marib dam, and $83mn for Morocco to finance a rural education program.
