US Lends Morocco $19mn
The United States has agreed to provide food supplies and petroleum research assistance to Morocco totaling $19mn. Two loans worth a total of $15mn will be used to finance imports of 175,000 tons of wheat and 180,000 tons of rice. The loans are repayable over 25 years at an annual interest rate of 2-4%.
