Japanese Customers to Lift 160,000 b/d in Third Quarter
MEES understands that after negotiations held in Kuwait in late June (MEES, 3July), Cosmo has increased its third-quarter crude oil liftings from 20,000 b/dto 40,000 b/d, bringing the total 3Q contract volume for Japanese customers to160,000 b/d, with 40,000 b/d each going to Idemitsu and Cosmo, and 20,000 b/deach going to Sumitomo, Mitsubishi, Mitsui and Kanematsu.
