SAFCO Logs Higher Output Levels in 1985
The Saudi Arabian Fertilizer Company (SAFCO) in 1985 produced 353,361 tons of urea fertilizer, 215,880 tons of ammonia, 83,748 tons of sulfuric acid, compared to 350,650 tons, 208,416 tons and 73,151 tons respectively in 1984. The company's 20,000 ton/year melamine plant, which started up in May 1985, produced 7,216 tons.
