Rail Link of Petroleum Products Exports Completed
A 6-km. rail link to carry petroleum product exports from Iraq's southernrefinery near Basrah to Khor al-Zubair was completed on 30 June. The new line,with a capacity of 5,600 tons/day, is a spur from the railroad between Basrahand the port of Umm al-Qasr, southwest of Khor al-Zubair, which was built in1961.
