EEC Grants $130mn to Sudan
The European Economic Community (EEC) has granted Sudan $130mn to helpupgrade transport and communications and financial, agricultural and industrialprojects, according to an agreement signed in Khartoum on 6 November. TheEuropean Investment Bank (EIB) will also manage $15mn of risk capital to beinvested in specific Sudanese projects.
