West Germany Grants Egypt $25mn
West Germany has granted Egypt DM50mn ($25mn) under the agreement signedbetween the two countries during President Husni Mubarak's visit to Bonn lastmonth. The funds, which are on top of the annual aid package of DM268mn($134mn), will be allocated for the purchase of wheat from the EC states, withthe proceeds from the sales to be used to finance Egyptian agriculturaldevelopment.
