NIOC Puts Reassessed Oil Reserves at 93bn Barrels
The National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) has announced that "as a resultof a new assessment" Iran's recoverable oil reserves (includingcondensates) now total 92.85bn barrels. The breakdown of these reserves is givenby NIOC as follows (bn barrels):
Khuzestan Fields 58.20 Gulf Offshore Fields 23.23 Other Areas 8.16 Condensate 3.26 Total 92.85
