Jordan Receives Aid from the US and West Germany
USAID agreed on 10 June to add $1.6mn to its original $31.65mn aid to Jordan in 1987 to facilitate feasibility studies on a project promoting the transfer of technology to the country. West Germany has also agreed to provide Jordan with a DM70mn loan plus DM32mn in technical assistance to be utilized in agriculture, industry, energy, health and water, according to an agreement signed on 11 June.
