YAMANI SAYS GULF WILL SOON PROVIDE 75% OF WORLD OIL EXPORTS
In the near future the Arabian Gulf area will provide over 75% of the oil moving in the world export trade, according to the Saudi Arabian Oil Minister, Shaikh Ahmad Zaki Yamani. Shaikh Yamani, who was speaking in a Saudi TV interview filmed shortly before the start of the 23-25 May OPEC ministerial committee meeting in Taif, warned that a continuation of the present oil price chaos would lead to a new energy crisis in the 1990s....
