Crude Oil Production Running at about 800,000 b/d so Far this Year
Egyptian crude oil production amounted to 9,988 tons (about 800,000 b/d) during the first quarter of 1986, according to statistics published in a recent issue of al-Bitrul, the monthly magazine of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC). Output in the following three months continued at about the same level, namely: April 760,000 b/d, May 845,170 b/d, and June 752,800 b/d.
