DHF Says Egyptian Debt Grows to $38.5bn
A report compiled by the IMF in June this year has reported a continuing buildup of arrears on Egypt's debt service, which it estimates to have grown to $4.3bn at mid-year, compared with $800mn four years ago. 60% of the debt service arrears are interest payments.
