AFESD Lends $20mn to Tunisian Agricultural Projects
The Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD) has agreed to lend KD6mn ($20mn) to Tunisia to help finance irrigation projects, according to an agreement signed on 17 November. The funds will finance projects at Borj al-Tomi, Mater and Sijnan costing $42.5mn, which are expected to be completed at the end of 1988.
