IFAD Lends $32mn to Four States
The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) has agreed to lend $32mn to part-finance projects benefiting small landowners and landless farmers in Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, Mauritania and Nepal, according to a statement issued on 9 April. IFAD will also grant $3.65mn for agricultural research undertaken by institutions belonging to the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research.
