SDF Lends $75mn to South Yemen, Syria and Sierra Leone
The Saudi Development Fund (SDF) is to provide three loans worth a total of$75mn to South Yemen, Syria and Sierra Leone, according to agreements signedduring the past two weeks. South Yemen will receive $30mn to part-finance theexpansion of Aden port facilities, while a $30mn loan to Syria will co-financethe expansion of the Mihrada electric power plant north of Hama.
