Expanded Saudi Shura Council Sworn In Amid Promise Of More Reform
King Fahd ibn Abd al-Aziz on 12 April swore in the kingdoms Shura Council expanded from 120 seats to 150 seats for a new four-year term. In his inauguration speech, the king pledged that the economic reform process would continue, adding that the next five-year plan (2005-10) would strengthen the countrys diversification program by creating new non-oil revenue...
