SEC Approves Telecoms Liberalization Bill

The Saudi Arabian Supreme Economic Council announced on 27 May that it had approved a new telecommunications bill that is set to end the telecoms monopoly enjoyed by the Saudi Telecommunications Company (STC), according to the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
