Kuwait Increases Size Of Planned Fourth Refinery To 600,000 B/D
Kuwait’s planned fourth refinery will have a throughput capacity of 600,000 b/d, not the 450,000 b/d previously planned, according to project director Ahmad al-Jimaz. In a statement issued by the Ministry of Energy on 24 April, he said that the new refinery, which will come on-stream in 2010, will be the largest plant in the Gulf and Middle East region....
