Al-Azzal IPP Agreement Signed With GIC/Tractebel
The Bahrain government on 31 July signed an agreement with the Gulf Investment Corporation (GIC) and Tractebel EGI, under which the two firms will build and operate a 1,000mw capacity power station at al-Azzal in Bahrain the first independent power project (IPP) on the island (MEES, 28 June).
