ADB Grants Morocco 80Mn Loan For Power Sector
The African Development Bank (ADB) on 6 May approved a loan worth 80mn to help finance a project which will double the transit capacity of the Moroccos interconnection with Spain from 700mw to 1,400mw and increase the interconnection with Algeria from 400mw to 1,700mw. According to the ADB, the project aims to improve the security and reliability of the energy supply system and reduce the countrys energy bill....
