SOMO Plans Tendering Of Crude Stored At Ceyhan
MEES learns Iraqi state oil marketing organization SOMO plans to tender the 8.3mn barrels of crude oil which has been held in storage at Ceyhan since the war in Iraq closed down exports. It is also understood that this week SOMO executives will decide on steps to make the stored Kirkuk blend crude available to the market, and will issue a public statement setting out methods, terms and conditions.
