S&PWithdraws PI Ratings On Two Tunisian Banks
Internationalratings agency Standard and Poors (S&P) said on 7 January that it hadwithdrawn the public information (PI) credit ratings on two Tunisian banks, theBanque Nationale Agricole and Union Bancaire pour le Commerce et lIndustrie. MEESunderstands that the withdrawals are not considered a major rating action anddo not reflect any concern on the part of S&P about the credit quality ofthe banks....
