IranTo Allow IAEA To Inspect BushehrNuclear Power Plant
Iran has confirmed that it will allow International AtomicEnergy Agency (IAEA) inspectors to check the 1gw nuclear plant currently underconstruction at Bushehr by the Russian engineeringcontractor Atommash (MEES, 8 October 2001). The move follows aproposal by Russias President Vladmir Putin to invite IAEA inpection ofthe site, following a meeting between Mr Putin and US President George W Bush early last week....
